California Electronic Waste Recycling Fees

We are committed to environmental awareness and protection, as stated in Our Policies. California has taken the initiative in the arena of electronic waste disposal and has instituted a mandatory recycling fee for all sales of television and computer monitors delivered to a California address.

California's eRecycle Fee

"When you purchase a new TV or computer monitor, you will be charged a recycling fee of $6-10, depending on screen size. This fee is part of a landmark law that created the nation's first eRecycling program. It helps keep harmful materials contained in millions of discarded electronic devices from ending up in landfills, while reducing pollution and saving resources. So for a few dollars, we can help protect California's environment, and keep us all a little healthier." - eRecycle.org.

This fee is MANDATORY and must accompany any order containing ANY LCD MONITOR - including a laptop computer - that is shipping to a California address.
